Reproduces a selection of photographic responses received from the mail art project
Manipulating the Self (Phase I - A Borderline Case) . Each of the prints is hand-titled "Manipulating the Self,"
some with Galerie B rubber-stamp. Approximately 5 to 10 copies were altered by the publisher, Roger Bellemare of Galerie B. In pencil,
he crossed out the word "Self" and wrote "Scene" because he thought the work would sell better this way, an action to which the artists agreed.
